1 cool tech thing – The $1 Trillion fight for undersea internet cables 🌊

Do you know?

While everyone talks about satellites, 99% of global internet traffic runs through undersea cables—and now, Big Tech (Google, Meta, Amazon) is quietly taking control from telecom giants.

This shift could change who controls the internet itself, sparking geopolitical battles over data sovereignty.

2 quotes that got me thinking!

"Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning."
- Bill Gates

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do."
- Steve Jobs

3 tips for growing your SaaS product, like a pro!

1. Turn active users into brand advocates

Leverage your most engaged users by inviting them to exclusive communities or referral programs. Give them early access to features and incentives to spread the word. Superhuman, an AI-powered inbox, does it best. It uses an ambassador programme, rewarding users for referrals and fueling growth through word-of-mouth.

2. Offer time-limited incentives to drive upgrades

Create urgency with limited-time promotions or discounts for users on free trials or lower-tier plans, encouraging them to upgrade quickly. HubSpot often sends time-sensitive discounts for customers nearing the end of their free trial, making it easier for users to decide to upgrade while getting extra value during the promotion period.

3. Create a community around your product

Build a space where users can interact, share ideas, and help each other. This could be a forum, a Slack group, or even a social media community. Airbnb created a host community where property owners can share experiences and tips. This community aspect has not only increased user loyalty but also helped them scale organically by getting hosts to advocate for the platform.
