What is L.E.V.8?
A comprehensive SaaS software, L.E.V.8 is safety, risk, and emergency management software, especially for events and venues. The platform's name "L.E.V.8" is based on the word "alleviate," as it aims to alleviate the burden associated with safety and risk management. It is software primarily for event organizers and venue managers, with all the tools included to coherently manage any hazards, with a solution right in your pocket.
With 7+ features in the SaaS portal and one exclusive feature available in app form, it is an all-encompassing solution for staff, contractors, organizers, and everybody associated with safety at any event. Founded by Stephen Goss, a seasoned expert with 22+ years of experience, L.E.V.8 is used across Australia to manage compliance and safety. That's not all — they are a trusted name in Australia, and popular events like TGI Sports, the ever-famous Melbourne NYE celebrations, and Footy Festival use L.E.V.8 to upgrade their safety for different events. They serve as a one-stop solution for all safety and compliance needs, and we are happy to mention that Momentum91 is a proud tech partner to Australia's most trusted safety and compliance SaaS portal.
Problem Statement
L.E.V.8 came into inception in 2019; it was the brainchild of Stephen Goss, a principal event and safety management consultant. He first owned Sentry — which provided services related to safety. Being in the business since 2009, it occurred to Stephen to introduce a safety and compliance SaaS portal, and this is how "L.E.V.8" was born. Denoting the word "alleviate," it stands true to its word, as it mainly alleviates the burden for venue managers and event organizers for all things related to safety, staff management, document management, issue management, etc.
Developed in 2019 from scratch by Stephen, it had a basic dashboard, chaotic design, and features that were not properly defined. Thus, they wanted to revamp the product, make it intuitive, high-performing, and offer their clients an amazingly user-friendly experience. As most of their clients who would be using their product are non-tech people, they wanted to revamp their product and make it intuitive for them and offer them excellent user experience.
Moreover, the L.E.V.8 website was also not good enough. It was a single-page website. So, the team at L.E.V.8 wanted to transform the website, making it look visually appealing, clearly organized, and highly responsive. Besides, they wanted to demonstrate L.E.V.8 in an effective way, showing all its features which would make their clients go gaga. In addition, because the nature of business was such that they had to visit multiple events and sessions, they had to display their website. So, they wanted to create a website where clients would choose their SaaS platform for all types of event management. And the solution was to establish a user-friendly, visually appealing, high-performing website.
And up next, they collaborated with us at Momentum91 to redesign their website, revamp the product, and upscale L.E.V.8's brand value.

Our Involvement
Website Content, Design & Development
From writing all the website pages to designing the website to developing it to getting it live, our team at Momentum91 created the entire L.E.V.8 website from scratch. The website consists of 15+ pages, featuring the product at its best, with detailed info on each feature. Covering testimonials from their previous clients to showing their clientele list to showcasing case studies to a page on booking a demo, we carefully designed the website demonstrating L.E.V.8 in a visually appealing way with detailed info. The website was designed using Figma, created using Webflow, and offers a pathway for future customers of L.E.V.8 to get detailed information about the product and its use cases, and to book a demo of the software.
Transforming their USP Feature – 'Logget' into a Mobile App
In events, there are prone to be security issues, injuries, mishandlings, or structural integrity problems. While every issue is critical and needs attention, how can you ensure that all the issues are properly handled and seamlessly taken care of? And this is where the 'Logget®' feature comes into picture. The 'Logget®' feature in L.E.V.8 is their USP feature.
The feature aids in real-time reporting of any issues, be it any hazard incident or a security mishandling from anywhere in the event, from any device. It sends automatic notifications to the authority concerned based on the intensity of the event. Moreover, you can also prioritize the severity of the incident, so proactive measures can be taken to curb it.
This feature was previously only available on the SaaS portal, and based on the demand for this feature, our team at Momentum91 got to create an app, which is exclusive for this feature and is available for all types of mobile devices. Using React Native for mobile development, we transformed their USP feature into a one-stop shop event management system, which lets nothing slip through the cracks through real-time reporting and notifications.
Revamping their Software – Redesign & Development

L.E.V.8 had its own SaaS platform, but the UX was not intuitive, and that's why non-tech users found it hard to operate. It was high time they found a new engineering team and revamped it. That's when they collaborated with us at Momentum91 to revamp their software to make it look elegant and have a precise flow for all the features. The software consists of 3 panels – admin panel, staff panel, and suppliers panel, each having their own features.

- Challenges we faced
1. Data file was heavy
While developing this app in React Native, we faced a challenge in uploading and processing documents to meet the platform-specific requirements, as there were too many clients documents included in the previous software, but our maestros overcame the challenge and seamlessly integrated all the data/
2. Implementing Reusable Components
To ensure the application remains efficient without unnecessary API calls and component re-rendering, thus, our developers implemented reusable components which can be used across multiple parts of the application.
3. Optimizing Data Processes
We optimized data processing by handling complex filtering on the frontend, preventing redundant processing of the same data multiple times. This approach helped us conserve resources by reducing API calls, server computations, and database queries, ensuring that tasks that can be managed on the frontend are not offloaded to the backend unnecessarily.
